EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!


Morning lovelies! If you follow me on snapchat you might have seen that yesterday the exterminator guy was there and it raised an awful lot of questions - my are people curious! So this sweet man pays me a visit every 6 months and he sprays my entire home with a water like substance that creates a crystallised protective layer so that spiders and other bugs will die after touching it. It´s not dangerous for humans, pets and it´s not visible. In 6 months time there´s only been 2 spiders and the second one was this Sunday, which was more than I could handle. I'm still recovering from my hospital visit and I don't feel completely safe at home yet, but the flat has been sprayed and cleaned, so now all I can do is wait for the anxiety to fade. This sweet man, my saviour, works at Detect Skadedyr/Pest control service in Hedensted Denmark, so if you are in desperate need, you know who to call ◕‿◕


Today I am going to a meeting and then I have a doctors appointment. I'm not at all feeling it today, but part of recovery and life is challenging myself every day. Nicholas is staying with me this entire week so I'm not alone when feeling like this, but during the day he still has to work a bit - so Morten is taking me to my appointments today ♡ Bless

#FilmFriday



Todays film - The Road Within. I´ve been having a tough time with my OCD these past few days and watching this film always makes me appreciate how far I´ve come. My OCD is a bitch, it´s a bully, it´s there every day torturing me - but if I stay healthy, work with myself and challenge myself, then it will get a bit easier every day! 

My boyfriend is feeling a bit poorly today, so I thought since he´s already stuck in bed being all feverish - why not enjoy one of my favourite films? He did shed a little tear and I can't blame him. It´s a great film that brings up the issues of Tourettes, Eating Disorder and OCD, as well as other challenges in life - love, loss, acceptance and it has a bit of humour to it as well. Personally I think everyone should watch this film and I am so glad my man did and that he loved it!

Just whistle while you work ♬


Spending my Sunday running around in shorts and sports bra - as it´s 21℃ here! Cleaning, tidying, getting my laundry done, then folding it and putting it away, food shopping and meal planning/prep for the week - as well as work! Favourite part of today is definitely cleaning, gives me a good feeling later tonight when I'm all done and then when I sit down on the sofa I can enjoy my clean home, candles, music and my well deserved break! Today has been so good and full of surprises. I´ve just ordered the Swiss Clinic Diet, so hopefully I will get that Wednesday before going to London Thursday. I hope you all had a great weekend and please don´t hate tomorrow, Mondays have feelings too! Monday is a great day, fresh start - make the most of it! ◕‿◕

I rang Morten this afternoon and asked him to come pick me up so we could go for a drive. I get outside a lot more than I did just a year ago and I have come so far with my OCD and anxiety, but I am still sometimes trapped inside and the better I feel, the more frustrated I get by being at home all day. Going out today was a challenge, a challenge I hadn't quite thought through - but I don´t regret going outside and challenging myself. Juelsminde is so peaceful, quiet and even though it´s a challenge it was also extremely calming and it felt so good getting to breathe properly.  I fear the outside, I fear summer, warmth and I fear the ocean - but standing at that beach, even with loads of people being there, I felt freed for a second and nothing in this world will ever feel better than that one second of freedom from the chains my mind has created over the past few years. Considered where I was a year ago, I feel so grateful that I could do this today - that I felt like doing this. Thanks to the people who have supported me over the years, who´s still supporting me and thank you Morten for driving me to a place I could find peace and feel free

Happy Star Wars Day - May the 4th Be With You!!


Yay! Happy Star Wars Day everyone and May the 4th be with you. I´ve been waiting a year to blow up that orange ballon! Star Wars have been on in the background all day and this evening Morten came by to watch Rogue One with me and eat sushi of course! Great cast for Rogue One, Forrest Whitaker is an absolute favourite of mine and K-2SO was so well played! Finished the evening off with Gluten/Dairy Free Chocolate chip cupcakes with chocolate mousse icing and these really cool sugar pictures I got in Germany. I enjoy baking, but not much for eating bakery goods - so Morten ate 3 and the neighbours get the rest.
