Summer Plans with the Boyfriend... and OCD

Obviously the purpose of recovery is that I have have a life without OCD, but I'm not there yet - so this year the boyfriend, OCD and I are spending the summer together! I do work on my OCD daily and get challenged every time I do something. So even though I have picked somewhat OCD friendly options, it will still be extremely challenging. My OCD is just worse during the summer months and any activity out of my own home is a lot for me! But I do want my life back and I want to experience things and spend time with the boyfriend outside my home. We talked about going to London, but two people with anxiety in an airport just seems a little too stressing - so we are going to spend the summer in Denmark, Jylland! These are our options, but we haven't decided yet. We linked our vacation days, so we get two weeks off together. I'm excited and a little terrified - but I know it will be worth it and hopefully next year I am ready to do even more than this. Would love to be able spend summertime like normal people!

Which Hair Products Do I Use?



After I changed my hair (from blonde to brunette) I also had to change my hair products. STUHR is a product I have previously enjoyed and my latest discovery is the Dry Shampoo Spray for Dark Hair that actually has a bit of a tint to it - to avoid white spots dry shampoo usually can give. I use the Hair Repair twice a week and the Dry Shampoo to freshen up my hair whenever needed!

Not well but I will be ♡


I had my blood-work done and got the results - turns out its Anemia, lack og vitamins and my kidneys and liver aren't doing too well either. A lifestyle change in regards to eating and taking vitamins, less toxic stuff in my body  - and I should be fine with time. When I told my contact person she of course freaked and talked about me going to a hospital and then moving to a clinic where someone monitors my eating to make sure I actually eat this time - so I won't die.. But talked her down to letting me stay here and then compromised that I cook with her Monday and Wednesday to make meals (lunch and dinner) for several days at a time and then store it downstairs. So twice a day I go down to get my meals. But she also said this is my last chance. If she doesn't see a huge improvement soon I am out!

We just planned out my entire future in terms of education and what happens when I do move out (hopefully not till next summer) and boyfriend and I are planning a future as well. I just got my family back.. I got my life back again and I can do things now - so I kinda actually want to live! Which is new for me. So I am going to do this - though I will struggle along the way but hopefully it will be worth it. Sorry for the heavy post, but yeah all I can do now is get my strength back, eat, lightly exercise and of course I play A LOT of the Sims lately and watch films & series, spend time with boyfriend and stick to my schedule
