#FilmFriday Perfume: Story Of a Murderer

Oh I have watched this so many times and I can just keep watching it. I find it oddly calming, so I usually end up falling asleep to it - I'm sure it's the soundtrack and not the murders that calm me ;) But this time I managed to stay awake.

Story time! So when I first moved in to recovery I had to do this EEG (An Electroencephalogram that detects brain activity and then your brain cells communicate via impulses - basically it is supposed to help me calm my anxiety and OCD) During the first stage of EEG I had to sit and watch a film (any film of my choosing) with these electrodes on my head and if I had anxiety the screen in which I was watching the film on would then distort the image, make the image smaller or the screen would just go black (because of my brain impulses) Me knowing how calm this film makes me feel I of course picked this to watch. I had not anticipated that my contact person would come and check on me every few minutes and there is A LOT of dead naked women in this.. So my contact person, who never ever watches any films so had no clue as to what this film was about, keeps walking in on the most awkward scenes of the main character sniffing dead naked women... AWKWARD! We both felt really awkward, so after that I picked the films I watched during EEG a little more carefully. Basically thinking "does this have any scenes that would be awkward to watch with your parents" before choosing. It is a very good film though and I shall continue watching it for many years - in my room, alone!

The film is on HBO Nordic

Enjoy
