An Unexpected journey

For a while now - a week or two - I´ve had some trouble with spiders nests hatching outside my flat and as baby spiders are tiny, they get in everywhere! This is already terrible, but my OCD is mainly about spiders and horrible thoughts about them, so having tons of them inside my home is like the end of the world for me. So the boyfriend (Nicholas) is here for a few days in from London, England - where he lives. I hadn't really told Nicholas how bad it all was because he´s been extremely busy lately and Morten stepped in and helped a little instead, so didn't want to bother Nicholas. Last night Nicholas realised that it is in fact really bad, so now we are off to stay at a hotel till the exterminator has taken care of things at home.

We decided to stay at Hotel Opus as it´s close to where I live, but when we got there and saw the room it was so filthy and had lots of spiders - which caused me to have an anxiety attack.. So of course Nicholas started yelling at the staff and that poor receptionist who was just filling in and had no authority at all. We checked out and then we drove all the way to Århus to stay at Århus Scandic City. Thankfully the staff here are extremely nice, the room is perfect and Nicholas has calmed down. Now we´re in bed, Nicholas is snoring and I'm watching tv in bed! I know, no biggie, but I barely watch tv and I´d never watch it in bed - but I´m allowed on mini vacation ;)
