A Series of Unfortunate Events!

 

It is definitely no secret that I break glass quite often - and those of you who watch me on live stream have seen and heard it happen many times. I have lived in my new apartment for less than a month and I have already broke 3 glass things. First it was a vase - I dropped it on the floor. Second was a glass water bottle - I filled it with water and put it in the freezer so it would get cold faster, not frozen! But of course I forgot about it and the water bottle just exploded! Third was a class decanter - It was filled with water in my fridge and in the middle of the night I went to get a glass of cold water, the bottom of it cracked. There was water all over my floor, under the fridge and in the fridge, which I then had to clean up at 2 am.. 

Is this a sign to stick to plastic?! I might! At least I didn't get hurt during any of these accidents! So I am getting better at it! 

I Moved! Here is My New Apartment!

I moved out of recovery! It has been planned for a while but obviously there is a whole process doing this and I needed a loan for the deposit once I found an apartment, which I couldn't get from the bank - since I am not employed anywhere. Then the procedure is to apply for a loan at the bank, get a rejection in writing - then apply for the loan from the government/commune (the same people who pay for recovery and everything else)

That loan however was also denied and my contact person did everything she could to plead my case and then they changed their minds. I got the loan suddenly one day and the next day I got the keys to the apartment I wanted. I actually thought I was about to lose the apartment since I couldn't get the loan and they then had the right to give the apartment to someone else. I was a wreck waiting for a response and for other people to make these life changing decisions about my future - but thankfully it all worked out. So I got the keys the next day and BAM! The apartment is now mine! I got this little welcoming bag from the company that rents out the apartments with information about how to sort trash, keys to the bins, a tiny moving box with sweets ♡

There is also a laundry room in the building along with some outside areas. All of this is above 3 drive ins - bakery, Sunset Sandwich Shop & KFC

The apartment is very central and still in Horsens, Denmark. 46 m² and the rent is about 4500 DKK a month. Expensive but OCD friendly and room to grow mentally! The plan is to live here for the next 4 years till I am done with school. I love this apartment and I feel comfortable and home here  Let me give you the grand tour ♡

This is the grand staircase, elevator and my front door - the building is very secure so you can't get in without a key and there is surveillance. I live very high up, so I appreciate the elevator for the rough and lazy days! I will be covering up my front door, since other people will be walking by and my apartment is a one room. I love how clean everything is - very OCD friendly ♡

The tiny "spare room" which is meant for storage - I will be using is as my office space 

This weird little room with the slightly smaller door is for electricity, water/heat and there is also a wifi router in there, I use it to store the door I took off the tiny spare room/my office 

Hope you enjoyed the tour and I will of course be updating on how I decorate it and get settled. Gotta say in terms of the blog - this apartment has perfect lighting! Can't wait to start my new life here and share it with you all ♡
