It’s been a while! If you’ve tried to read/enter my blog the past few months you may have noticed it wasn’t here! The person who helped me start the blog back in the old days paid for it years in advance - now it was time for me to pay and that transition did not go as planned. The domain was bought on a site called GoDaddy so when I got the emails about payment and the warning that my blog would get down I honestly just saw the name “GoDaddy” and assumed it was spam. My blog was taken down and my domain name was being auctioned off - so I went into 2021 spending a great deal of money getting it back! This blog is MY name and what I want to do with life next to being a full-time dietitian. I put a lot of work into this blog and I am really happy that I finally got it back!
During the time of my blog being down - a few things have happened. I took my exams in English and Social Studies and of course aced English, getting a best grade! Did not do so well in Social Studies, but turns out I already passed that a few years back - so all good! No I am gonna study chemistry and then the plan is that I move out of recovery in a few months and start at University.
Christmas, birthday and new years also happened! Christmas was spent with my mum, sister and grandparents. It went well all the way till I had to go back home after midnight and my train was cancelled due to a train track suicide (poor girl), this obviously caused major panic in me with my anxiety and needing to control and rehearse things like travelling - but I got through it and was home safe in my bed early next morning.
Birthday I spent here, Lasse came to the recovery place and had a cup of tea with me and I did get some gifts, but no party - yet! Will do a family things later this month.
New Years I was invited to a party with the other inmates - which I can safely say went a lot better than last year. We had fun and it wasn't a wild party, as we had to be considerate of corona restrictions and safety - which suited me just fine. All in all this has been a very good year and I am excited for 2021. So far my plans for 2021 are studying, getting into uni, move out of recovery, get into figure skating, I have signed up for some volunteer work and of course continue my journey with mental health and weight loss.
Hope you all had a good year - despite the challenges and misery it has brought to many. Stay strong and positive ♡
